This little clip serves a critical purpose to your Chevelle or Malibu emergency parking brake system. Typically overlooked or ignored in the restoration or replacement process, the parking brake cable slips through the frame bracket and the clip slides in the groove on the cable end fitting to lock the cable to the backside of the bracket.
